Overview
The Website Management, E-Learning & CBT Unit is responsible for developing, managing, and supporting the university's digital platforms and online learning environment. The unit ensures that university websites, e-learning systems, and computer-based testing (CBT) platforms remain reliable, accessible, secure, and easy to use.
The unit works closely with academic and administrative departments to provide technology-driven solutions that support teaching, learning, assessment, communication, and digital engagement across Plateau State University.
Key Responsibilities
Website Management
- Design, development, and maintenance of university websites and web applications.
- Management of website content, pages, announcements, and digital resources.
- Ensuring websites remain accessible, responsive, secure, and up to date.
- Technical support for university departments and units managing web content.
- Performance monitoring, backups, and troubleshooting of web platforms.
E-Learning Services
- Management and administration of the university's e-learning/LMS platform.
- Support for lecturers in creating and managing online courses.
- Assistance with uploading lecture materials, assignments, quizzes, and other digital resources.
- Support for students accessing online learning resources.
- Promotion of digital and blended learning across the university.
Computer-Based Testing (CBT)
- Management and maintenance of CBT platforms and examination infrastructure.
- Setup and configuration of online examinations and assessments.
- Support for question banks, examination schedules, candidate registration, and results processing.
- Technical support before and during CBT examinations.
- Monitoring CBT systems to ensure reliable and secure examination delivery.
